Our first topic will be postpartum depression/anxiety
Supporting Mothers and Families in the Postpartum Journey
Becoming a parent is one of life’s greatest joys—but it can also bring unexpected challenges. Postpartum depression, anxiety, and overwhelming exhaustion affect more families than many realize. In fact, research shows that 1 in 7 mothers experiences postpartum depression, and partners can struggle too.
I created this space, to offer real support for mothers, fathers, and families navigating life after birth. Here, you’ll find practical tips for coping with postpartum anxiety, honest conversations about maternal mental health, and guidance for partners who want to help but may not know how.
This blog was inspired by both my professional background as a mother-baby nurse and my personal experience watching my son and daughter-in-law raise two babies just 14 months apart. Their journey reminded me how vital compassion, community, and resources are during this season of life.
That experience led me to write my book, Strong After Birth, a supportive guide filled with survival strategies, reflection prompts, and printable tools designed to help families thrive after welcoming a baby. Being published shortly.
If you’re looking for encouragement, simple coping tools, or ways to strengthen your support system, you’re in the right place. Together, we can break the stigma surrounding postpartum depression and create hope-filled paths to healing.
